Economy Candy

Not as cluttered as it used to be.  Still a great source of Havah in bulk.  An old fashioned candy store in the Lower Eastside.  We've been visiting the last fifteen years when we come to New York.

 I don’t know what happened. I guess we needed all these carbs to soak up the bourbon. Or, the bourbon altered our judgement. Do you know that the white on the sweet potato is a marshmallow topping with honey. It was kind of like a sweet potato pie in the skin. Ummmmh! Let’s see… our next stop is Bardstown for more bourbon tasting. I wonder what we will have for dinner.

"The Lost Boys", a 1987 classic.  Cold night on the streets of Ottawa.  We watched a few minutes before moving on  It is in the low 40s with some wind so with the chill factor is down in the 30s.
